Dear all,

Friday, which was black Friday, mom and I went to Walmart to see what good sales they had, which this was the first time mom and I have ever gone out on black friday as we don't care for the crowds and trying to get to where we're going because everyone is in the way. Plus, it's the same for others, in that your in the way too.

Well, Friday morning we decided not to go to early, so we got to walmart about 8:45am. On the way there, we prayed to the Angels for us to find a good parking spot, that once in the store the Angels could pave a way for us to get through and to what we were wanting to get to. Plus we prayed for Walmart to have what it was we were wanting to buy, which was a few things due to Christmas gifts that we wanted to buy for loved ones.

Plus there was one other thing I was really wanting to check out was there sale of DVDs at $2.00 a piece. That was my first stop to check out, and mom's too.

Well, we went to the electronics but they were no where to be found so mom asked a sales guy where the 2 dollar movies were and he said they were over in the food area. So Walmart being a huge store it took mom and I a while to get over to the food area, but there was no one in front of us or blocking the path for us to get there.

It was easy to spot where the 2 dollar movies were because everyone was over there looking through and getting movies too. There was also a display with 5 dollar movies as well. So, we slowly made our way through the crowd and mom and I got what few we could grab before someone else did, as those movies were going fast and very few to choose from.

Well, I was able to get about 10 of the DVDs, but 5 of them were the 5 dollar movies and I really wanted to get to the 2 dollar movies, but we had a heck of a time getting through the mass of people. So, I directed mom to the isle that has the price checking thingy, because I wanted to make sure the movies were 5 dollars. Well, after about 5 minutes we slowly headed back to where the 2 dollar movies were and to our surprise there was hardly anyone around.

There was 3 young ladies over where the 5 dollar movies were, and then there were two walmart employees with a buggy full of boxes of the 2 dollar movies. And they were restalking the displays. I got one of each of the movies they were putting on the display, well, I should say I got one of each movie that mom and I would like, plus the movies I knew my sister would like too.

The one employee pushed the buggy in one of the food isles and had openned the boxes, and so I went over and took a look at what all movies were in those boxes and wow was there dozens of good movies to choose from. So, I went ahead and got one of each of the movies, plus what I knew my sister would want.

These movies are normally priced between 5 to 17 dollars and we were buying them for 2 dollars a piece, which you can't beat a sale like that. And many of those movies I had been wanting to get but for years had to pick and choose which one to get and when I could afford it.

By the time we finished looking through the movies and getting what we wanted, and from the boxes too. It was starting to get really crowded again, which we didn't mind because we were done in that area and so we headed off to the other areas of the store to buy a few more things that were on sale.

And the biggest kicker of the entire shopping experience was there were these super long lines and only half of the check out lanes were open. Well, just as mom and I were coming up to check out, a cashier came up to us and asked us if we were ready to check out and we said yes. And so she took a hold of the buggy and we followed her to her check out lane where she helped us put the stuff up on the belt and then she got us checked out. We did not have to stand in those long lines.

Now, here is something else. When it was time to leave the parking lot. There were super long lines of cars trying to get out onto the road. Well, I noticed that the little driveway area headed to the back of walmart was empty of anyone, so I told mom to give it a try and see if we can get out that way. And WE DID! It was clear and smooth getting out of the parking lot and there was no one around, everyone was out in the front and we got out on the road by driving to the back of walmart where we did not run across no one until we got out onto the main highway. And while all these people were coming out of the side street from Walmart waiting at a red light, mom and I had the green light and we just kept driving through and stayed way ahead of the traffic that stayed behind us because we kept hitting the green lights and everyone behind us were having to stop at the red lights. Laugh

Prayers work and the Angels do hear our prayers, and the Angels even heard the prayer about the movies I was wanting to buy as well. The Angels paved the way and I am truly gratefull for all that they do for people, as they are always ready to do what we ask them.

Dear all,

There is more, because on our way home I was telling mom that the only movie I really wanted to get was the latest Mummy movie, which I didn't see any where and it was a 2 dollar movie. So, I asked mom if she would want to go to this other Walmart to see if they might have it, and surprisingly she said "Okay" It was crowded and busy in there too, but no where near how crowded and busy the other Walmart was. We didn't get a buggy and just got a basket instead, because we were just wanting to see if they had the latest Mummy movie.

We basically knew where the movie displays were from where everyone was crowded around, which as we were getting closer and closer to the movie displays the crowds thinned out to where there was one person infront of each display and no one was trying to get around any of us to see what was all there.

Which they didn't have the latest Mummy movie, but they did have lots of the 2 dollar movies that the other Walmart didn't have, so I ended up getting those movies, plus the ones I knew my sister would want too. I tell ya, my sister is gonna love Christmas this year because I got her a lot of great movies that she normally would not be able to buy either.

I shouldn't have, but I charged the movies on a credit card which I had gotten paid down but like I told mom that in the long run with buying the movies at a low cost will save us money in the long run. And it will take me a couple months to get the charges paid off, but that's ok because wow did we get a good deal on the movies.

Oh, after we bought the movies. The lady at the exit knows mom and I from all the other times we've been in there and it was mandatory that she checks all receipts which while she was checking our receipt I openned the bag and said. "Look at all the movies we got." I was very happy and she told me that she bought 25 of the movies that morning, and her face lite up big time because what a good buy on the DVDs.

And I do have to say that every where we went to in both Walmarts, everyone had piles of DVDs in their buggys and they all had huge smiles on their faces. I had to laugh many times because it's funny how people can get so happy over something like buying a bunch of DVDS. It kind of lets you know that it's a collective conscious type of thing where movies are very much a big part of people's lives, and it can really make a person happy when coming across a sale like the one Walmart had on Friday.

WOW!!!! Smile

Christ Love,
Janise
