Announcement: Kim in Rome - the Peter Consciousness
Posted: Anne Magda @ Fri Feb 26, 2010 4:17 am
Hi guys, Smile

Who's been following Kim's dictations from Rome? I found the teachings on the "Peter consciousness" really fascinating. I'd like to multiply the talents and share my own perspective on this state of consiousness.

The Peter consciousness is where a being intuitively senses the truth radiating from someone who has reached a level of Christ consciousness - yet has not fully internalized it, not become one with it. It's the next step up from the Pontious Pilate conscious which is yearning for the truth yet would not recognize Christ truth even if it tripped up over them. Laugh Yet once you have become familiar with what the vibration of Christ Truth feels like, it is easy to become trapped in the Peter pitfall which I believe can take two forms - the first is where you refuse to let go of your old identity, the second is where you refuse to accept your new one. In the first case the Being will refuse to let go of it's purely earth based identity of being right among men and will be prone therefore to use it's higher Christ knowledge to set itself up as an authority *over* others on earth. In the other case the Being is happy to throw away it's old identity but instead of accepting it's new unique higher identity it becomes a faithful duplicate of the messenger. It can even reach a very sophisticated intellectual understanding of the teaching brought forth through a Christed messenger, yet never brings forth anything higher or new. Both of these states are actually the same state, that of wanting to keep ascention at a distance, as a purely intellectual concept rather than going one step further and actually BEING. At a deeper level, Peter Consciousness actually springs from FEAR - either fear of the unknown, or the fear of making a mistake: denying the Christ within you, which is really just inner doubt.

Anyone who has read The Secret Doctrine by Helena Blavatsky (Peter) will know that he/she has an extremely good intellectual understanding of the inner workings of the universe and even the ascention process, and I admit I was a bit suprised to find out such a person has not yet ascended. Now I know why - holding the KEYS to the kingdom of God is all fine and dandy but to enter the ascention spiral you have to actually take the plunge and use those keys to open the door! Laugh It's the very same reason why some people have shelves full of self-help books but they never seem to do them any good - because they haven't internalized them, so it's just dead men's bones. What a (non) coincidence that the Bascillica in Rome depicts a DEAD christ and a statue of Peter - perpetually holding those keys, frozen in time. (The Catholic Church since Peter has further deteriorated so that it no longer even has the keys, but the catalyst that allowed this to happen is enough people denying the reality of their own Christ potential.)
