Chapter Three - Human Ego

Many religious and spiritual people believe that if they did not have an ego, they would not have an identity.

If you believe that your ego is your identity and you want to hold onto your ego, than you are going against what Paul said to do which is "To let this mind be in us, which was also in Christ Jesus."

We know of that mind that was in Jesus as the Christ Mind, the Christ Consciousness. When you read the teachings of Jesus from the Bible, you'll see he taught people the way of the Christ, not the way of the human ego. So one might think that maybe Jesus was not in support of the human ego, but in support of people living from the Christ consciousness.

When you live from the human ego, you are living from the mind that Jesus taught against, so why would so many religious and spiritual people want to continue to live from the human ego if they say they Love Jesus, but yet do not do the things he taught? When you read about the ego from the Bible, you will read it as the description of the carnal mind. The carnal mind and the human ego are one in the same. The human ego is also known as the Anti-Christ mind. So, you can see that those who were seeking to destroy Jesus and those who did not have an ear to hear the living word that came from Jesus 2,000 years ago, were living from the Anti-Christ mind, which Paul called it the Carnal mind, and today we call it the human ego, or the ego consciousness.

When you learn more and more of the things that are of God, you will be able to identify the things that are of the human ego in yourself. If you Love God, than you would want to live your life from the Christ Consciousness, not the ego consciousness. Which living from the Christ Consciousness is a gradual path to work up to. You can not expect yourself to live a 100% from the Christ Consciousness in a short amount of time if you have lived numerous past lives from the human ego.

I will give you one thing real quick so you can identify the ego in yourself at this very moment, that is if you have an ego, which if you don't, than what you have read on this page so far won't bother you, but if you live from the human ego, than what you have read thus far would upset your ego. So, if you're upset from what you have read so far would be your ego, because the real you would not be upset, but just your ego. Which means if you are upset than you will know that your ego is in control of you and the real you has taken a back seat.


The Real You is Not the Human Ego

So, if the real you is not the human ego, you are probably wondering what is the True You. Well, the True You is your God Flame. If you don't know what your God Flame is, you can learn more about it from the God Flame page which has questions on there for you to answer that will help you to discover what your God Flame is.

Your God Flame is your individualized identity as a Son or Daughter of God. When you are not living your life from your God Flame, you are living from the human ego. When you know what your God Flame is, you will know when you are living from the human ego and when you are not.

I AM Loving Liberty, which when I am not living my life from my God Flame, I know it's the human ego acting in my life. So, once I am able to spot it being the human ego, I can go to work on eradicating that ego from my consciousness so I can Be Loving Liberty. However the Loving part of my God Flame is not always the soft Love that comes through me, but it can also come through me as being Tough Love, which can be mistaken for me not coming from Love, but from the human ego.

When you live from your God Flame, you will be living from the Christ mind, so that is one way to keep track of your progress while being on the Spiritual path of Self-Transcendence.


The Human Ego is the Anti-Christ

For many Religious and Spiritual people, they believe that there is this one man who will rise up one day and be the exact opposite of what Jesus was when he was in embodiment 2,000 years ago. They believe that this man will be known as the Anti-Christ, who will lead the world astray, which is away from the Way Jesus taught us to live our lives. But if you look a little closer at this belief, you'll see that most of the people on this planet already live the opposite of what Jesus taught, which he taught the things of the Christ mind. So when you look at how people live today and throughout history you will see how people have lived their lives completely opposite to what Jesus taught 2,000 years ago. It's not hard to notice that the people on this planet have already been lead astray and do not live their lives the Way Jesus taught.

Jesus lived from the Christ mind, which if you're not living from the Christ mind, you would be living from the Anti-Christ mind. The Anti-Christ mind is the Human Consciousness which is also known as the human ego, or just the ego.

You will not find just one man who will rise up and be known as the Anti-Christ, because anyone who does not live from the Christ Consciousness is living from the Anti-Christ mind. So, basically there are already billions upon billions of people on this planet who are living from the Anti-Christ mind. And you will find these people in all walks of life on this planet, so it would be a little hard to choose just one man who would be The Anti-Christ when most everyone already does live from the Anti-Christ mind, which this Anti-Christ mind is the human ego.

If you notice the people who sit in their churches every Sunday act just like those High priests, the temple priests, the scribes and pharisees when Jesus was in embodiment 2,000 years ago. So, you could say that they have already been suckered into following the ways of the Anti-Christ, because it's obvious they don't live from the Christ Mind. Jesus said the kingdom of God is within YOU, but yet the people sitting in their churches will have you believe that the kingdom of God is outside yourself and in their Churches. So, do you see how the churches teach the opposite of what Jesus taught us and how they have taken on the same mind set as the High Priests and the Temple Priests Jesus preached against.


The Human Ego Wants You To Fear

As long as you are controlled by your ego, your ego will keep you from going within yourself and seeking the kingdom of God that is within you. The human ego wants you to believe in an outer savior, an outer path, an outer church, an outer way that will lead you to the Kingdom of God. And the human ego will make sure you are to afraid to not trust your own intuition to know that you can find Truth within yourself.

There are billions of people on this planet who teach about the outer path, and they teach of this belief that unless you believe in an outer path, you will not have salvation. But how can you even begin to have Salvation when you have not gone within yourself? If you follow the way of the things of this world you will live in fear, because you will have to go based on faith in what someone in embodiment tells you to believe in. But when you put in you the mind that was also in Christ Jesus, you will be open to receiving guidance from your Higher Self, from your I AM Presence, which you will be able to receive Truth from your Higher Self. So when you go within and seek guidance from your Higher Self, you will be able to live your life from inner Truths, instead of outer beliefs.

The human ego of fear can take the opposite approach than just making you afraid to ask question or going within yourself for inner Truths that come from your Higher Self. Which the opposite of that is being defensive and becoming aggressive with those who you fear might be trying to get you to believe in something other than what you already believe in. There are many people who feel that anyone who does not believe the way they do, is a threat to their beliefs and to their salvation. They believe that the devil is trying to tempt them and so they become defensive and very aggressive with those who do not share in the same beliefs as they do.

I have met many people like this and I know that they speak from fear and express themselves from that fear, because they feel that I am trying to change their mind or lead them astray. But in reality, I do not need to lead them astray as they already have been led astray by not doing what Jesus taught, and that is them going within themselves to the Kingdom of God.

So, if you live your life from fear, than you are living from the human ego, which is of the Anti-Christ mind, which is also known as the Carnal mind. And remember what Jesus said about fear, which he said perfect Love casts out all fear. So as long as a person lives their life with any type of fear in them, they are living from the human ego.


The Human Ego Wants You To Feel Shame and Guilt

Your True Self, which is your God Flame, knows that you are here in the material world to experience life as a co-creator and you are going to make mistakes. And the more we learn from our mistakes the more we learn of what works and what doesn't work, so we naturally rise in consciousness when we do not keep repeating the things that doesn't work, and we know they don't work because of the returning karma that our mistakes causes us.

However, when we are young and we make mistakes, we are often times told "Shame on you." "What's wrong with you" "You should know better than that." "I'm shocked at you." "I can't believe you would stoop so low." "How dare you speak to me that way." and the like, which causes feelings in ourselves of shame and guilt. If you were punished as them words were being spoken to you, you could grow up feeling like you need to be punished for the mistakes you make. You can also learn that you need to be punished by what you learned from the church leaders who preach that God punishes people who sin.

When you hear statements like the ones I used in the quotes, please know that they are reacting to you from their own human ego. So, when we hear statements like that, we want to rise above the consciousness that would cause for us to use them types of statements with others. But also at the same time, we want to rise above the consciousness that causes us to feel guilt and shame from our own past mistakes we've made. And know that our ego wants us to feel ashamed of our mistakes, which there is no reason to, as we were created as co-creators with Free Will to experiment and to create the things that are of God. Which when we find ourselves creating things that aren't of God, we can say "oops" and then work to rise above that state of consciousness that caused for us to create something that was not of God.


Spotting the Ego

When you are able to spot the ego in yourself and you work towards rising above the state of consciousness to the Christ Consciousness, it will be very easy for you to spot the ego in others. You might even be tempted to point out other people's ego's to them, but if you do not do this in a balanced way, you can really do a lot of harm to the person. And you will reap what you sow, and if you have done harm to another by pointing out their ego, than you will reap the harm you caused to another. The best way to help others overcome their egos, is by you being an example of someone who doesn't live from the human ego.

When you are Being who You are and Being at peace within yourself, it will cause for others to want what you have, which is they will want to Be at peace within themselves too, and possibly ask you questions about you and your life. This will open the door for you to help the person to be able to take a step higher in their life, and it doesn't matter if they would still have an ego or not. It's just you helping them to take that one step higher in their life, and then letting the chips fall where they may. So, we don't need to go around pointing the ego out in others once we are able to spot it in our own life, because we can be an example of someone not living from the human ego, just by us rising above the human ego and Being who we are living from the Christ Consciousness.

The more you learn about the ego, the less the ego will have control over you, because you will be able to spot it in yourself and it will help you to know what to look for in yourself, so you can continue on the path of Self-Transcendence which is rising higher in consciousness so you will live from the Christ Consciousness.
