A Course in Miracles
Nothing but your own thoughts can hamper
your progress.
A Course in Miracles
Nothing is difficult that is wholly desired.
A Course in Miracles
You may believe that you are responsible for what you do, but not for what you think. The truth is that you are responsible for what you think, because it is only at this level that you can exercise choice. What you do comes from what you think.
A Course in Miracles
The journey to God is merely the reawakening of the knowledge of where you are always, and what you are forever.
A Course in Miracles
All that is needfull is to train our minds to overlook all little senseless aims, and to remember that our goal is God.
The path of Self-Transcendence is the path that one takes when working towards winning the ascension.
Which the Ascension is based on being received when a person has balanced all their karma and stopped creating more karma. When they have completed their mission in the material world. When they are non-attached to anything that is of this world. When the person rises above living from the human ego, and lives totally from the Christ Mind. Which eventually a person rises to living from the God Consciousness. Which by then, the person would be living here below, all that they are when living in the Ascended Masters realm.
It's a very straight and narrow path towards winning the ascension. Which a person takes baby steps when being on the path of Self-Transcendence, which I explain throughout the pages at Being More I AM. But for now, it's important to know that it is a gradual path towards one winning their ascension.
Here is the definition of the Ascension, from The Summit Lighthouse.
Ascension. The ritual whereby the soul reunites with the Spirit of the living God, the I AM Presence, through the acceleration by the sacred fire at the natural conclusion of one's final lifetime on earth. It is the process whereby the soul, having balanced her karma and fulfilled her divine plan, merges first with the Christ Consciousness and then with the living Presence of the I AM THAT I AM. Once the ascension has taken place, the soul—the corruptible aspect of being—becomes the incorruptible one, a permanent atom in the body of God, free from the round of karma and rebirth.
Knowing the definition and the way to winning ones ascension. I find that It's a good idea to find something that you can relate what the Ascension is to something you are familiar with, so you can use that as a way to encourage you to keep taking the steps that will lead you to your Ascension.
For me, and what keeps me going, is this picture I have in my head of me walking on some path that has a finish line up ahead, but I can't see how far up ahead it is. All I know is that it's up there some where and someday I will eventually cross it and win my Ascension.
You might be wondering why a finish line? Well, if you think about when people run in a race. You know that in order to complete that race, everyone needs to cross the finish line whether they win the race or not. But lets say you were going to be running in a race. You know before the race starts, that you need to cross the finish line to complete your part of the race.
But lets say the day you were going to be in the race nobody showed up, but you. You decided that you were going to run in that race any ways. So knowing you're running that race by yourself, you wouldn't have had no one to compete with, and that you were able to go as fast, or as slow, as you wanted to, because no matter how long it took you to cross the finish line, you eventually crossed the finish line and won the race.
When you are on the path of the ascension, it is very much how it is for a person who is running a race by them self. Except instead of running in a race, you are taking spiritual steps towards winning your ascension. And you know that you won't win your ascension until you have crossed the finish line.
You see, on a race track, you can see the finish line getting closer with every step you take. But when you are taking the spiritual steps that lead to your ascension, you can't see the finish line to know how far or away you are from it, and so you just keep taking those steps until one day, you do finally cross it and win your ascension.
There are many people who have somehow taken on the belief that they will receive their ascension by doing nothing and waiting for someone to come up and give it to them. This belief causes for people to have no interest in crossing the finish line and winning their ascension, because they believe that someone is going to hand it to them.
If these people had once started out on the path of Self-Transcendence, then they have stopped and are sitting some where on the track waiting for someone to bring the finish line to them, or waiting for someone to just give them their ascension without ever crossing the finish line.
The truth is is that no one is going to bring the finish line to you, and no one is going to give you your ascension, because the ascension is won by earning it. Which you earn the Ascension when you take the spiritual steps on the track, then you win your ascension when you have taken that spiritual step of crossing the finish line.
As a person walks the path towards the finish line to winning their Ascension, the person will often times find blocks that get in the way of them taking steps on their path. These blocks can be related to rocks on the path(track) that a person is on when headed towards crossing the finish line. If a person is not paying attention to what they are stepping on, it can cause them to trip and fall, or twist their ankle and break a bone.
So, a person walking on their path needs to be aware of the blocks that can come up and stop them from taking those steps towards the finish line. But whether the rocks are there or not, there are very few people who pay attention to those rocks and those that do notice them don't care. And so they either step over those rocks, kick them out of their way, or walk around them speeding up as they go on this path on their way to the finish line, thinking they are making great progress.
Now, Lets say, you are one of the few who don't ignore, step over, or go around the rocks. You decide to take the time to pick the rocks up and throw them out of your way, making your path a nice path for anyone to walk on. You know you will eventually cross the finish line like the others, but you want to take the time to remove the rocks from your path.
So, the first rock you pick up to throw out of the way, you decide to look at it first and you notice there is a magnet on one side of the rock and a word on the other that reads. "Anger" You know that what this rock is letting you know is that you have anger at times, and anger is blocking you from taking a step closer to the finish line. If the anger isn't eradicated from your life, the path will pull that rock back onto it, and then it will pull you back to the rock, and no matter how far you get on your path that rock will continue to keep pulling you back to it, until you have eradicated the part of you that causes for you to become angry at times.
As you are thinking about what this rock is telling you, you look down and you find a note that is on the ground where you just picked up the rock, and it said. "No one in Heaven ever gets angry." You think about the note and the rock, which you know your not angry at that moment, but you think about all the times in your life that you had been angry. You know you can't cross the finish line until you release the hold that rock has on you, as it will pull you back if you still have anger. Your not sure what to do, so you decide to put the rock in your pocket and take it with you.
You walk on up a ways on this path and you come across another rock. You pick it up and while your picking it up you see there is a note under that rock too, so you grab that up while your getting the rock. And you read on the rock. "Un forgiveness" as you're turning the rock over to see if it had a magnet too, which it did. You think about all the people you have not forgiven for things they did to you in your past. So, you now continue on and read the note and it reads. "No one in Heaven ever holds grudges, because we are unconditional Forgiveness."
As you stand there thinking about the new rock you found and the other one you had in your pocket. You realize that if you stuck every rock you found in your pocket, your never going to get to the finish line due to the weight of those rocks slowing you down. So, you decide to look into your life and remember the who, what, when, where, why, and how things happened that caused for you to have anger against people, and not being able to forgive them for things that happened many years ago. You decide to take time to get to the bottom of this anger and this un forgiveness and heal your life of it, once and for all. Not because the rocks are blocking and weighing you down from being able to continue taking those steps to the finish line, but because you want to heal yourself in those two areas for your own self, because you Love yourself that much to not have these two areas of your life weighing you down any more.
And so you leave that path you were walking on for a while to work on those two areas and heal from them, and you did. So you find yourself returning back to that path and you see where the two rocks were before, but the ground is smoothed out so it looked like there were no rocks ever there. You smile and you continue on walking on your path, and you come across another rock, and it reads "greed" You read the note that was with that rock and it reads. "No one in heaven is ever greedy." You stand there and think and say out loud to yourself, "But, Neither AM I! I've never been greedy." So you don't think twice about throwing that rock out of your way, but you decide to turn it over and see if there's a magnet, which there isn't one. You smile and throw it out of the way.
As you continue on your path, your wondering why the greed rock was there, because your not a greedy person. So, you then think that maybe it was a test to see how you would react to finding a rock like that. You think the test was to see if you would get angry over it, which you didn't. You just thought it was strange was all, but it didn't affect you. And so, you went on and kept finding more rocks and seeing what words and notes you would find and repeating the process you did that healed the other areas of your life.
You see, a person who ignores the blocks and think they can step over them, or kick them out of the way, are those who think they can skip steps on the path towards winning their ascension. Which those who trip on their path find themselves waiting for someone to bring them the finish line, instead of learning what caused them to trip and remove that cause from their life, so it doesn't happen again. But those who take the time to heal their life of the blocks will make better progress on their path towards crossing the finish line, then those who look for the short cuts, which will lead a person into a blind alley of nothing more than the person's ego making them think they are on the path of Self-Transcendence, when they really aren't.
Beware of the ego games that can take you into a blind alley of thinking you can take the wide path towards receiving your Ascension. Which the wide path is the path that many find and take, but the straight and narrow path is a path that very few find.
The wide path is based on skipping and creating steps from the ego, and then making excuses for why those steps can be skipped, or taking new created steps that aren't even part of the path of Self-Transcendence, while believing you will still cross the finish line and win your ascension. When in reality, the wide path will cause you to stagnant on your path of Self-Transcendence.
You see, when you start out on the path of Self-Transcendence, you will find that you are already on the wide path, and being on the path of Self-Transcendence is gradually taking you closer to being on the straight and narrow path, which is the path you need to be on that will take you to the finish line to winning your ascension. And so, if you were to skip steps or create your own steps that come from the ego, would be leading you back to taking the wide path.
You can compare the straight and narrow path to the kingdom of Heaven. The Kingdom of Heaven does not make exceptions for anyone, you are either in the Kingdom of Heaven, or you're not. So, if you had completed all the other steps on your path of Self-Transcendence, but had skipped steps along the way, or created new steps that are based on the wide path, it means you are still outside the kingdom of Heaven, and being outside the Kingdom of Heaven means you're still on the track heading towards the finish line of Being in the Kingdom of Heaven, which is within you.
So when being on the path of Self-Transcendence, there are no skipping steps because every step you take takes you closer to winning your ascension, which are spiritual steps you take. As long as you have an ego, your ego will constantly be trying to get you to take the wide path, which is coming up with ways to skip steps, or create other ways of being able to get to that finish line and winning your ascension, when in reality the ego will take you away from the finish line.
If you are serious about winning your ascension, but you feel that you already are qualified to win your ascension, and don't need to be on the path of Self-Transcendence to win your ascension. I would like to ask you, are you able to turn water into wine? Are you able to manifest a banana in your hand when you are hungry? How about when you're at a store and short on money, are you able to manifest that extra cash to pay for your purchases? If not, then why not?
If you are so sure of yourself that you qualify right now for your ascension, then you should be able to do all those things, and even be able to walk on water, walk through fire without being burned, or how about moving a mountain. If you are unable to do any of those things, then you are still some where on the track still headed towards the finish line, and if you don't cross that finish line before the end of this lifetime, you more than likely will be reincarnating so you can continue taking those steps towards the finish line.
If you think about those who assume they are qualified to receive their ascension right now. Then why aren't they performing miracles like Jesus and Saint Germain had been doing before they received their ascension?
If you look at the history of the Ascended Masters, you will see that they all were able to manifest things such as gold, food, money, walk on water, turn water into wine, they were able to control the weather, and so much more.
So when you think about all these thousands of people, who feel that at the end of this lifetime they will receive their ascension. Does it make you wonder why none of these people are able to perform the types of manifestations that the Masters were doing before they received their ascension? You would think that it would clue these people into knowing that they still have steps to take on the path of Self-Transcendence.
When people make assumptions that they are qualified for their ascension, and that they will receive it at the end of this lifetime and they are just waiting for that time to come when they will receive it. They are just fooling themselves and aren't on the straight and narrow path that leads towards one winning their ascension. These people are some where on the track thinking the finish line is going to come to them, when in reality, they need to get up and go to it.
The reason that those such as Jesus, Saint Germain, and other Masters were able to perform miracles and manifest things is because they had transcended their consciousness to such a point that they became one with their I AM Presence, or one with God, so God was the one who did the works through them. So, to have a goal of winning your ascension, it is important to learn what the Masters did that caused for them to win their ascension, and we would use them as examples for how we can win our own ascension.
The biggest example the Masters left behind for us is that they Internalized what they learned. They studied a particular teaching until they had internalized it and then became what they learned. They didn't just give to others knowledge that they memorized, but they were what they taught to others. Which again, When they Internalized what they learned, they became what they learned which lead to their Self-Transcendence, which eventually led to them winning their ascension. So, the key to receiving the ascension is the path of Self-Transcendence which leads to Being More I AM, or Being More God while living in the material world.
Please know that until a person has actually won their Ascension, that person ought to know that they are still on the track that leads to the finish line of winning their Ascension. There is no other way, period.
